...and there's a garishly lit hole-in-the-wall Thai place on Shattuck north of University a few blocks (2 or 3?), that's open late (at least until 1am, I'm pretty sure) but I'm not sure on the name... think it might be something generic like "Thai Noodle".
Look for the retina-burning pink and purple neon... particularly after 11pm it's hard to miss. -

they have two locations on clement (at 3rd & at 8th)
and three locations in the union square/tenderloin area
the food is delicious! -

King of Thai's always been pretty good, and their ubiquity is a Godsend. Not sure what their exact hours are, or if it varies from one location to another, but their eternally "Under Contruction" website does list all the phone numbers...

Not sure on the hours of Thai House Express... I see a lot of conflicting info online and no official website. Last time I drove by the one on Larkin they had a banner up that I think said they were open until midnight every day. (I think it used to be later, but maybe that was just on weekends?) They have at least one other location somewhere as I recall.
