In keeping with the general spirt of late night lameness in the Bay Area, I'm saying we should meet around 8:30pm. (they *are* open until about 11:30pm tho'.) Maybe next time we can actually shoot for having a meetup after 10pm, but this week I'm lame. Fukkit.

Fri, March 4, 2005 - 2:29 PMActually it's not me singing you have to worry about (as much), it's the Vietnamese expats who like to come in, drink about 40 bottles of Heineken and then crank up the karaoke system.
Although, they *do* have 2 songs on there that I could concievably sing... "Tombe La Niege" by Salvatore Adamo and (inexplicably) "The Model" by Kraftwerk. I damn near blew salty plum soda out my nose the first time I heard that one there. -

The Bay Area Late Night Dining Tribe (East Bay Posse comin' atchya) Semi-Official Event Number Two was a resounding success! Fragrant, steaming bowls of pho were enjoyed by all, then afterwards some of us went over to Koreana Plaza and then off to Pacific East Mall for some late-night karaoke hijinks.
Thanks again to everyone who came!
(And now you know that I wasn't kidding about the earplugs.) -
