Staying open till 4am some nights, Pizzelle is usually the last restaurant left standing that offers a late night bite to eat.
The slices are usually above average to pretty darn good..
If you can get there early (before the changeover to pizza-by-the-slice around 10pm), you can order off their whole menu, which includes excellent pasta dishes and traditional-style Italian cuisine

Pizzelle is still going strong, and still open late.
And it's still the only pizza in North Beach that doesn't make me sick.
Try a slice of the combination with peppers, sausage, and bacon... mmm...
