2006-09-11 Update:
Yesterday, on a whim, I decided to give Yuet Lee another try. (2:50 AM)
I ordered something easy, Black Bean Sauce Beef Chow Fun, and surprise surprise it turned out great. Great flavor with an added kick of spicy black/white pepper flavor that I did not expect. Yum.
The noodles and sauce were perfect, as was the proportion of beef/veggies-to-noodles. They also brought me out a small eating bowl so I didn't have to pick it up off the plates like the tourists.

Re: Yuet Lee (Broadway at Stockton, SF)
Mon, September 18, 2006 - 11:08 AMThe food itself isn't too bad, but it's grossly overpriced. $8.75 for chow fun? Are they nuts?
The $3.50 or $5.50 plates in the Outer Richmond and Sunset districts beat the crap out of the equivalent dish at Yuet Lee.
Leave it to the North Beach/Chinatown clip joints to rip off tourists, bridge-and-tunnel folk, and new San Franciscans...
